Founded in 1996, Ghibli provide all-round logistics services. The company premises are located in the Csepel Free Port in Budapest, in a logistics centre with fluvial, rail, and public road connections.
Italian freight transportation has constituted the bulk of our business the from the very beginning. The Italian express collective freight transportation has undoubtedly been our most popular service. This service is different from traditional collective freight transportation in that it involves the delivery of small quantities of goods that reach our warehouses directly, without trans-shipment. The emphasis here is on fast delivery.
We launched our traditional collective transportation services between Italy and Hungary for the delivery of non-urgent, heavy (1m3 heavier than 330 kg) collective freight.
In addition to our collective transportation, we run a successful FCL and LCL service as well, primarily in Southern and Western Europe.
With Hungary's accession to the European Union and the changes in our client's commercial relations, we have broadened our transportation services to include the whole of Western and Central Europe.
Connected to international transportation is our customs management activity, we have launched a new service for the European Union: drawing on our customs law knowledge we can now put together our clients' Intrastat facilities.
Our all-round logistics activities include warehousing services, as part of which we have operated a public customs warehouse since 1998 and as from 2004 a VAT warehouse, too. Freight is delivered to destinations around Hungary by means of our domestic transportation services.
Optimising logistics costs can contribute significantly to the reduction in overall expenditure. With competition becoming fiercer, this is now high on the agenda in every company. Clients who have used our logistics consultancy service have saved an average of 10 per cent in logistic expenses. |
