The Corvinus Group
In 2005, Corvinus International Investment Ltd has regrouped - in line with the Government's economic policies - the state-owned investment firms operating so far independently in Hungary into one group of companies. Aim of the reorganisation is to achieve coordination in the use of government funds allocated to equity financing of SMEs.
Through the reorganisation government funds are used in a more transparent and efficient way.
The Corvinus Group offers equity investments for companies in every phase of their product development cycle from innovation until listing on the stock exchange.

* Corvinus Venture Capital Fund Management Co. (CKTA)
The Corvinus Venture Capital Fund Management Company is a financial services firm created to manage a number of venture capital funds. The first such fund is the HUF 5-billion Corvinus First Innovation Venture Capital Fund. Its investment strategy focuses to financing the industrial implementation of the results of domestic innovation.
* Supplier's Investment Co. (BB Zrt.)
The Company's mission is to contribute through capital investments to the growth of Hungarian firms that are, or intend to be, suppliers. The company is ready to invest into innovative project companies too. In every case priority is given to firms that create (or maintain) jobs, increase added value and operate in an environmental friendly way.
* SME Development Finance Co. (KvfP)
The Company invests in Hungarian small- and medium sized companies in the HUF 10 to 100 Million range for a period of 3 to 5 years.
* Corvinus International Investment Co.
Corvinus International Investment Co. is the only state-owned development finance institution in Hungary set up to co-invest with Hungarian companies abroad. It may also invest directly into local ventures in non-EU countries through its "Carpathian Region" capital program.
* START Capital Guarantee Co.
The Company offers a unique service in Hungary, reducing the risk of equity investments into SME's through capital guarantee. |
